To my Member of Parliament, 

As a concerned citizen in your riding, I am writing to request your support for the Finance Committee’s Report on Income Trusts tabled to the House of Commons on February 28, 2007.

When the Conservative government took office last year, it passed the Accountability Act and promised Canadians it would hold to the highest standards in government.  Expert witnesses have testified to the Finance Committee and they have concluded that the government got it wrong on Income Trusts. In keeping with this accountability, I urge you to support the Finance Committee recommendations and look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

There is still time to do the right thing.
